Health Issues Safe for Virtual Care

daily mental health issues;

many skin problems;
-
urinary, sinus and minor skin infections;

sore throats;
-
eye redness without pain or change in vision;

sexual health;
-
travel-related health care;
-
conditions monitored with home devices and/or lab tests; and
-
follow-up of previously ordered test results and specialist reports.

If we are unable to provide adequate assessment by video alternate recommendations will be provided.
Health Issues NOT Safe for Virtual Care
-
chest pain;
-
new shortness of breath;
-
loss of vision;
-
loss of hearing;
-
sudden weakness or numbness;
-
ear pain;
-
cough not related to cold/flu;
-
new abdominal or digestive problems;
-
new or worsening muscle and joint injuries; and
-
dental concerns.
Generally anything that cannot be easily seen without special equipment or is causing significant discomfort should be seen in person.​
Services Include
* Call the NP! Does not provide the following services: narcotic prescriptions, bio-identical hormone therapy, completion of disability tax credit forms, complex medical care, second opinion referrals, or any services that are deemed not appropriate for safe virtual care at clinician discretion.
